I was delighted to be on the panel discussing underinsurance as we are attracting a new generation of wealth. We are a 4th generation family business at TL Dallas connecting one family to families through personalisation and pro-activity. It is really important to offer a concierge service and be a trusted adviser.
A fantastic event that I felt truly privileged to be a panellist on. It really is the best HNW insurance gathering there is!
Fantastic event and was a pleasure to be invited to be part of the panel to discuss this very current subject. The panel were all fantastic and hope the audience got an insight to our thoughts on the matter.
The whole day was very productive and well organised. I feel that it gave all involved a platform to be able to openly discuss the issues and challenges within the High-Net-Worth sector. It was useful to be there as valuers, as it allowed us to gain a greater understanding of the difficulties faced by brokers and see how we as suppliers, could improve and adapt to face those challenges.
After recently appearing as a panellist at the Insurance Age HNW Forum, I left feeling that there is a genuine, shared ambition across our industry to do better for our clients. My key takeaway was clear: if we are serious as a broker and insurer community about truly addressing underinsurance, we must confront its two root causes head-on: the lack of awareness of HNW insurance and the overly transactional client experience that persists. Only by tackling these challenges together can we deliver the level of protection our clients genuinely need.
Having also been involved in the 2024 Forum, I was delighted to see even more brokers present at this years Forum, which also extended the representation from various broking firms up and down the UK. The interaction by many of those brokers present I felt was testament to their desire to attend, interact and find answers to those questions that they wanted to ask. All in all a very productive day.
